![]() ![]() Illustrator wont convert the graphics, but you can always import them, place it, and then trace it in AI to recreate it. From there they are die cut as a final process. The image is printed onto the back side of the vinyl then an adhesive is applied and finaly the wax backing. The graphics start out as just a sheet of vinyl. ![]() You mentioned printing on pre-cut templates. I.e they print the design on top of the vinyl instead of like mx graphics where it's printed on the back side of clear vinyl in layers ending with the base bottom color. That and they don't reverse print the design. Then you have the fact that the vinyl used for MX graphics is not what you buy from a graphics/sign shop. Reguardless the mom and pop graphics companies don't have the time or the know how to do this or the money to buy the blanks or atleast make enough to cover the cost of buying the blanks. Or they just buy the blank vector graphics for a huge price. Alot of the major graphics companie now adays used a 3demnsional digitizer to get the exact demensions. You are taking essentialy a 3demnsional object and printing it on a flat surface. The major problem with moto graphics is designing the templates or getting pre made ones allready. Photoshop can be used to design the images but the final design should be done in Illistrator using vector graphics. So basiclly i am helping my freinds viynal shop with motocross graphics.i was wondering if anyone knew what pogram besides possibly Photoshop that the companys may use to design and apply them to the cut templates ![]()
